Educators design authentic, learner-driven activities and environments that recognize and accommodate learner variability.
You can design a life you will love! That's what the senior portfolio college selection project encourages you to do.
You will be required to tour at least 3 colleges, trade schools, apprenticeships or a shadow programs of your choosing over the course of your junior and senior year. During your senior year you will prepare and design a portfolio for grading.
You will be required to present this portfolio along with a a brief 5-6 minute presentation of the college or program you have selected for post-secondary education to your senior class.
This presentation and portfolio are required for graduation.
Students will be graded on a rubric. Please click the college selection rubric link and start familiarizing yourself early with what is expected of you. If you would like to know what we have planned for the upcoming year, you can click on the PDF "senior portfolio module" link. This link is a descriptive print out of all the assignments due for the semester. Due dates will be released at a later time.
